Police stations across the nation have come together to speed up the process of being able to get the word out about criminals. The best method has always been to display an artist rendering on local television networks in hopes someone can identify the suspect.
Police Sketch Artists Given New ‘Default’ Template for Suspects

A artist sketch can take up to five hours and that is if they can get up to an average of three witnesses. To help with this method of preventive action, The National Sketch Artist Association has taken 50,000 sketches of criminals across American and listened to 4500 ABPs and have compiled a default suspect sketch to be automatically released to news stations when a crime has been committed. The new drawing can easily be modified if necessary, but not likely, just by simply using an eraser to change the skin tone.
